Skills Make You Rich

I love the last two weeks of December for a couple of reasons.

First, I have always had amazing results in my business in December...I think mostly because everyone else is taking time off and thinking that it isn't a great time to build.

Second, this is the time of year that I really focus on my skills. I read more books, buy and absorb lots of training products and I tend to write more emails and blog posts.

I'm pretty sure that part of me is thinking about the goals that I want to accomplish in 2012 and I know that if I want to get better and accomplish more, I need to become more (why the focus on personal development).

My focus on personal development can be traced back to the time I spent in Amway (or World Wide Group) back in the day. I didn't make money in Amway but I did come away with some skills.

I know that I am preaching to the choir here but there are a lot of people in this world that spend a lot of time complaining about their circumstances but rarely devote any time or energy to making themselves a better person and creating more value in the world as a human.

Skills can make you rich, my friends.

What if you spent the next six months developing a skill?

Let's assume the skill is in demand and you are able to train others, create a product or sell something online related to the skill. If you sold $50 a day worth of training or consulting or whatever, you just created a business that does over $18,000 a year.

Want to earn six-figures online?

Create enough value in the marketplace to sell $300 a day.

(This is totally connected to what I do with my Network Marketing business by the way.)

Once you create something that is in-demand, the selling part is very easy.

For example, I created MLM Blog Secrets and MLM Blog Code because I knew that people wanted to learn how to attract business by blogging.

Now, whenever I am on Facebook, I almost always have someone send me a link to their blog, asking me what I think about it. Typically I can offer a couple of suggestions and send them on their way, but a couple of weeks ago, I launched another product called MLM Blog Theme that (as far as I know) is the only WordPress theme specifically designed with Network Marketers in mind.

NPC’S Market Profile Strategy: Step 1

It’s been more than a week since I have been watching the tutorials at Niche Profit Classroom and to be really honest with you, I feel that I am fixated on the topics that are related to finding keywords and good niches because majority of the strategies that are used in finding a competitive niches are new to me. I feel like I’m learning an entirely new language!

But even if I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed, I tackled the videos on market profiling or in short sizing up your competition. With the system at NPC, you really don’t have to look into lots of tools and websites so that you can get the information that you want because they already have software called a Market Profiler. It basically focuses on 6 avenues of market analysis using websites that many people visit on any given day. Since I don’t want to give you a very long post, I am going to split it in parts so this post won’t be an eyesore!

So, let’s go ahead and tackle the first step by the use of Amazon. Yes, you heard me right, let's use Amazon! When you go look into www.amazon.com, you need to check for information products (books) related to your target market. Since Amazon is considered as the the best seller of information products in the internet, it contains valuable information in determining whether a niche is hot or not.

The software at NPC particularly wants you to find out four details from Amazon: the availability of books related to your niche, the number of books available, it also requires links on the bestsellers, and their ranks in the overall marketplace. The results will be combined with the succeeding steps in order to determine if your niche has potential.

If you don’t have the software, you can make good use of details mentioned above and other data such feedback, availability of information materials, number of copies sold, along with other pertinent details from Amazon. However, it’s important to remember that not all hot topics may translate into savings in your bank account. If a niche is too popular, you may be embroiled in cutthroat competition – a scenario that we are trying to avoid. To sum it up, let’s find a niche that’s popular and marketable at the same time. NPC’S Market Profile Strategy: Step 2

The second step of NPC's Market Profile Strategy is to use clickbank. You need to go to the website and click on marketplace. You then need to enter your keyword and click on find products so you can determine the number of direct competitors in your niche.

Take note of the top 3 products and save their URL’s along with their corresponding gravity. From the previous videos that I watched, I learned that gravity is the number of distinct affiliates who earned a commission selling a particular product. Once these details are entered and saved into the NPC Market Profile System, it will compare the results with the collected data from the other tools.

If you don’t have the NPC’s software, analyze the data that you can find from clickbank. You can go to marketplace, then check out the top products related to your niche. Check out the product's stats found below the description. If you are not familiar with clickbank or how their rankings work, I encourage you to go to their Help Center where you will find lots of information on how clickbank works. In particular, you can use the stats of a product to determine how hot a niche is.

NPC teaches us to pay close attention to these metrics:

total $/sale – the total commission or total dollar amount that an affiliate is getting on average per sale

%/Refd- affiliate driven sales

Gravity - tells you whether or not affiliates are making money out of the product. You need to see that
people are earning out of the product before you venturing in it. However, you also need to
take into consideration the market that your niche belongs. According to NPC, a gravity of 7 or
higher is good especially for your first site.

A good tip is to use advanced search where you are given options as to what stats you’d like to see in the order that you prefer. But again, learn to use the data to your advantage because when a niche is too hot, you may end up having to compete with experts in the industry. What NPC encourages is to find a niche that’s not too competitive so that you can rise above your competitors. Now, we’re on to step 3.

The Original MLM Blog Founded in 2003

Over the years, the MLM Blog has gone through several design changes as well as branding changes. We started out as my "Thoughts and Opinions about Network Marketing" then later morphed into "MLM Blog News and Reviews".

Running a blog for several years seems a lot like running a radio station. The worst thing you can do is let it go stale. So I feel like it's time to freshen things up a bit.

Part of keeping MLM Blog fresh was a snazzy new design from WordPress Makeover and a subtle change in the branding from "news and reviews" to "The Original MLM Blog Founded in 2003".

As "The Original MLM Blog" we are going to offer up a slightly new format.

Here is the plan (which of course can change at any time):

We are planning on posting 2-5 times per week with 3-4 probably being the sweet spot.

New MLM Blog posts will follow a set format that will include:

Industry News and Links (the news including new products, company launches, lawsuits, etc)Personal, Leadership and Business Development Links (could be books to read, other blog posts, training products and events, etc)The Rumor Mill (when available)Commentary (when available)

There will also be occasional posts that do not fit the format such as my occasional rant or rave.

NPC’S Market Profile Strategy: Step 3

I’m actually a fan of forums because it is where I get a lot of information from people interacting and sharing valuable information. I learned from doing online marketing before that you can actually attract visitors to your site by being active in forums that are related to your niche. But NPC’s Market Profile Strategy also teaches us to use forums as a tool in determining the profitability of a niche. It's called forum analysis.

The first step is to go to google and find whether there are forums related to your niche. So if your niche is koi breeding, you can just type in koi breeding forums. Make sure that you use only your keyword and just add the word forum to narrow down the results. If there are forums related to you target niche, check them out whether they are indeed forums because some domains can be misleading.

Visit those forums and check out if the forums are active. It’s also good to note the number of members, topics, posts and more importantly the number of active users. When you go to the bottom part of the any forum,

you will also see the number of active users as well as the people who are currently online. If you have been exposed to forums before, you will be able to tell if the data that you see inside the forums are in the high or low range. If you see a couple of thousand of posts per subcategory, then it means that many people are seeking out information related to your niche.

With the market profile software at NPC, you just have to input the data on the number of forums related to your niche as well as save the URL’s of the top forums related to your niche because the numbers will be used again in comparison with the data we’ve collected from my previous posts.

Without the software at NPC, the information that you can get from the forums can help give you an insight as to how many people are interested in your niche. We want to seek out those passionate people because if they invested some time in posting in forums, it means that our niche may have potential.

If you can't find any forums on google, it doens't necessarily mean that your niche is not going to be good. It only means that you need to dig deeper. You can go back to clickbank and Amazon to search for the parent category of your niche with the goal of finding useful data.

NPC’S Market Profile Strategy: Step 4

So now, we’re on to step 4 or otherwise called as Google Adwords Competitive Research. This is the simplest step because the NPC Market profile tool asks us just two questions. The first question is whether there are affiliates or vendors who pay google just to advertise information products on your specific niche.

To know the answer,you need to go to google and type in your root keyword. You will easily spot paid results because they

are always on top of the free results and they are highlighted. Sponsored links or paid ads can also be found on the right side of your results page. Free/organic results on the other hand are those that are located right below the highlighted ones. These free ads or results go next to paid ads because these websites put a lot of effort in marketing and getting ranked.

If you see paid results selling information products, it means that your target niche could generate money. If you can’t find paid ads using your root keyword, use other top keywords to check if there are paid ads. If there are direct advertisers on your niche, take note of the number of advertisers because the data can help determine if there is money in your niche.

Now that was quick! Let’s move forward and try step 5.

NPC’S Market Profile Strategy: Step 5 And 6

Now, let’s tackle Step 5 of NPC’s Market Profile Strategy. For this step, we need to determine the market size of our niche through keyword analysis. If you are familiar with the Google Adwords keyword tool, this process is easy. All you have to do is to enter your keyword and sort the results in descending order.

Take note of the value in terms of global monthly search volume that your keyword gets. You also need to take into account the top 10 keywords and their corresponding global monthly search volume. With the needed data already collected, we can now proceed to the next step which is search engine landscape.

Step 6 – At last!

For the last step of the NPC’s market analysis, we need to determine if our moneywords will get enough search volume. When we searched for keywords earlier on using NPC’s moneyword matrix method, we were able to tell apart good and excellent keywords. For this process, we need to take the top 20 highly searched moneywords so we can use the data along the others that we have collected from the previous steps. In the tool, the search volume values are also necessary in order for us to determine our final market score.

On using NPC’s Market Profiler

I am again impressed with how NPC has developed a strategy in determining if our niche may stand a chance against bigwigs in the internet industry. That’s ambitious I know! But it really starts with choosing the right niche. To me, the market profiler tool gives us a precise and step by step guide in examining many angles of our market. I can imagine how difficult it would be for newbies like me to try and study a market without the right background.

If you don’t have the software, you can still use the data that we have collected (step 1 to 6) in order to gauge if your niche is good or not. I feel that going through the steps is quite manageable as compared to going in depth with your keywords from the previous tutorials. And that just reminded me that I have some keywords and niches in mind to test out. I’ll blog about it soon!

NPC’S MoneyWord Keyword Matrix – Part 2

Now, this is the coolest part of the entire process because we will be able to determine if our niche has plenty of moneywords. In other words, this is when we’ll know if it’s a GO or if it’s a big NO.

Analyzing the Results:

What you will see after the entire process is done is an excel file that’s color coded containing all the data from the different criteria as follows: keywords, global monthly searches, competing pages, competing pages rank, average PR, average PR rank, PR rating, OCI (overall commercial intent), OCI rating, estimated CPC, and total ranking traffic (estimate).

Pay close attention to the values right below the commercial intent or OCI criteria because

if it’s a positive sign, it means that consumers are willing to spend money on that particular keyword. If it’s a negative rating on the other hand, it means that they are less likely to spend on products and services on it.

What the Colors Mean

You also need to focus on the rating of your keywords. Dark green stands for excellent, light green means good, light yellow means fair, yellow is borderline good or fair, and red stands for poor. You can sort the results in ascending order so that you can easily analyze the results better.

When I was watching the tutorial, my five year old daughter was also listening and she told me, we should be after the dark green ones, right mommy? And the answer to that is a big yes and we can now refer to them as our moneywords.

Using the Color Coding Scheme

Using NPC’s strategy, we can use the niche if we have at least 21 Moneywords in our market. We can also use yellow keywords but it will largely depend on how many green keywords we have. So if we have 1 or 2 yellow keywords, it’s okay to push through with it but if more than half of your best 21 keywords are yellow, it means that you may either look into a new niche or you may need to do more keyword research. If you still you don’t end up with more green keywords, forget about the niche and do the test again for your other target market.

Analyzing Your Niche Through Different Criteria

We also have to take into account the other results that the MoneyWord Matrix Tool gave us and we need to use it against each other so we can better analyze the potential of our niche. NPC suggest that we sort it as follows:

Sort the results by rating and tick on ascending order.Then sort the results by global monthly searches in descending order.Lastly, sort the results by competing pages rating and choose ascending order.

When you have the results in the order above, it will be easier for you to decide if your niche is worth the investment. I suggest that you put more emphasis on the criteria that we have tackled above because NPC finds those reliable. Use the PR rating the least as compared to the other criteria because it is considered as the weakest parameter as per NPC’s teachings.

My Take on The MoneyWord Matrix Tool

The process may seem long but when you get to do it yourself, it’s not at all complicated because the software is very user friendly. I highly recommend this software because it gives you an in depth analysis of your market and it will easily identify your moneywords.

NPC’S MoneyWord Keyword Matrix Tool – Part 1

I can’t stop gushing about NPC’s Moneyword Matrix Software because it has really streamlined the process of deriving your moneywords instead of calculating it on your own. When I viewed the tutorials on using the manual process, I was completely lost. Did I tell you that I am allergic to anything that’s math-related? Okay, that may be an exaggeration but yeah, my brain seems to automatically switch to rejection mode each time I encounter formulas and other problem solving equations.

But the good news is that NPC has an amazing downloadable software that will analyze your keywords using different criteria. By far, this is the coolest tool that I found at NPC and I will explain further if you read along.

Using NPC’s Moneyword Matrix Keyword Tool

When I started the tutorials on getting the keywords automatically through NPC’s MoneyWord Keyword Tool, I could not believe that all you will ever need in getting your moneywords is contained in just one software. So let’s go about the process now and use

our reliable Google keyword tool by accessing it through the link in the software. With one click, it will take you directly to Google’s keyword tool so we can already proceed with getting related ideas for our root keyword. Before running the tool, make sure that you click on columns and tick on approximate CPC so we can extract the data that we want.

Narrow Down Your Results Carefully

The next thing that we need to do is to narrow down the results if you wish to be more specific with your keywords. You will see both an include and exclude tab on the left side of your page where you can just type in the phrases and in the process include/exclude keywords according to your preference. Do this very carefully because you may unknowingly lose excellent keywords – a scenario that we don’t want to happen.

You can then proceed on clicking on the append keyword ideas to list button so that the results will be loaded to your MoneyWord Matrix Software. And when that’s done, you just have to click the magical GO button. And that’s it!

A Word of Caution: You need to set the language of your Google keyword tool to English before you append your list to the Moneyword Matrix Software so that the tool will run properly. And if you have a long list of keywords, be prepared to wait because it’s going to take some time before the software can finish analyzing all your keywords. But a cool feature of the software is that you can stop your work as well as save it so that way you can just retrieve the file when you’re ready to run the tool again.

MLM Blog Makeover

I launched the MLM Blog in October of 2003 and over the years, the site has undergone a number of redesigns, including a pick up and move from Typepad to WordPress.

Check out what my blog looked like back in 2003:

I had no idea what I was doing but that ugly blog laid the groundwork for the success that I have today.

Over the last couple of months, I have wanted to make some subtle changes to my design, not huge stuff but a few things to spruce it up a bit.

So I got in touch with Rick Robbins, the Lead Developer over at WordPress Makeover after seeing the work he did on David Wood's blog.

We talked about a few changes and Rick got right to work. One thing I wanted to do was add a little bit more of my personal brand to the site without overwhelming it with "Ty Tribble" everywhere and I think Rick did a great job there.

There has been much talk about predictions of the gold price in recent weeks. I bet that it will occupy $ 2000 per ounce at the end of the year if not earlier. With the U.S. Government, just a hair below default on their debt obligations, the scene is really heating for a complete financial meltdown. If this is certainly the safe bet. But what if its where they want you to go, some land, ammunition and food supplies would be perhaps more valuable (however I will admit that I do not find this solution to be very practical either.)

What all this talk about the price of gold. I thought that this was to be a blog on how to make money online? In addition to buddy, where were you? I thought that this blog had long forgotten by you have step moved you to something new as the teaching of English as the language second in Thailand. OK, ok, in regards to my credibility I know that it is quite thin at this time. I didn't throw it out there and state that if you want to do a blog on something, perhaps it would be a good idea to do a blog about something that people are interested in. We are all constantly in search of information all the time, drop by Google Trends and see what is the hot topic of the day. In fact going one step further and predict tomorrow hot topic, if you can do this you will be truly unlimited (yeah, his pun on the film but I certainly recommend not, fantasy flick!)

My writing style has changed a bit since I started this blog, is an English / EFL teacher makes you really appreciate the language that so many of us take for granted. Gold is the hot topic of today, he turned to more than $ 200 over the two days and has led many people to jump on the movement, or purchase gold or write about it, or can make you money.

ROI Unlimited Scam Bouncing Checks?

MLM Blog contributor, Vance wrote an article a few months ago about ROI Unlimited and today I found evidence that the company is bouncing checks to it's distributors.

Here is the recent comment:

I was all excited about ROI until a bonus check bounced. I've called them 4 times about this and left a message over the last two weeks and have never heard back. If this were a reputable company, it seems to me they would have gotten right back to me to explain themselves. At this point, I'm going to have a very hard time telling people about the benefits of this company with the knowledge that they have bounced a check on me. How do I get my money back - all of it? I feel like this company is inept and fraudulent, not just a scam. Does anyone know any attorneys that go after companies like this?

The is the same company that is headquartered out of a P.O. Box in an Arizona UPS Store and people wonder why Vance suggested a red flag.

My laptop died recently and to be very honest, it was the longest time in my life that I felt so disconnected from the world. I have heavily relied on the internet in getting information – from directions to recipes, business ideas, and restaurant reviews. It’s like my most complete and up to date resource book to everyday life so when I didn’t have a working computer for weeks, I felt really crippled.

The tutorials that I watched today focused generally in building the right content for your site. I have long believed that a well-researched article can help boost traffic but NPC’s tutorials taught me that creating content for your site goes beyond just a well-written article.

Google actually ranks site on a per webpage basis so to be up on the first page of Google, you need to have a wide array of very good keywords in your site. So when you think of the categories or the content, it is also something that you need to carefully plan because every aspect of your website will be patterned to generate traffic.

Since we are targeting on information-based products, it’s important to choose the right topics or categories. So creating short cuts like copying content and mashing up content by others is a big No-No. Natural writing is also encouraged, after all our readers will always want something that’s easy to understand. Another thing that may also help boost traffic is to keep the article to at least 500 to 750 words, and it must be original plus the quality must be really good.

Another valuable thing that I learned through the tutorial is that the way your website is structured can also help generate traffic. Rising UK Wholesale Gas Prices:

Over the past week a series of factors forced UK wholesale gas prices to go up. There are rumours that Norway are planning to divert Europipe 1 supply to Germany, also unexpected operational problems from ConocoPhillip’s Theddlethorpe gas terminal, amongst other factors such as Belgian LNG tankers redirected to Japan, PX’s Teesside plant scheduled maintenance outage in September and Qatargas rolling maintenance over the coming months are all contributing in the rise in UK wholesale gas prices.

Wholesale Gas Prices for Monday’s delivery rose 0.55 pence to 57.10 pence per therm and Tuesday’s gas traded 1.10 pence higher at 57.75 pence.

British gas for October’s delivery rose 0.70 pence to 65.50 pence, while November’s gas increased to 72.75 pence.

Another factor that weighted on UK gas contracts on the far end of the curve was the recession fears in America. Winter 2011/2012 gas contract’s firmed at 73.85 pence up 0.35 pence, while winter 2012/13 gas shed 0.60 pence at 74.60 pence, guided by falling crude oil prices.

Meanwhile, a letter leaked from the Prime Minister’s senior policy adviser on energy and environment. warned that current policies could add 30% to consumer energy bills by 2020. According to Ben Moxham’s letter wholesale gas prices will play a major role in these rises.

“If gas prices are low in 2020, the cost of policies promoting nuclear and renewables would be high, he says, and it would not be cost effective to pursue these policies. If however, gas prices are high, reliance on nuclear power and renewables “could conceivably” be better for consumers.” – writes Mr. Moxham.

According the Mr. Moxham’s letter there are four policies that stand out as having the most significant impact on household and business energy bills: carbon pricing (both out own carbon price floor and the EU emissions trading scheme), the new Energy Company Obligation, our Electricity Market Reform package and the Renewables Obligation.

UK Energy Market Reform:

Today is a very important day to the UK energy market, probably the most important since it privatised 20 years ago. The Energy Market Reform White Paper is due to be published and will determine the future of the industry for the next 20 years.

The UK Energy Market Reform white paper is expected to provide fresh details on how the government plans to stimulate investments to the renewable energy sector to help the UK meet the 15% target of electricity generated from renewable sources by 2020. How it plans to reduce the Big Six monopoly and the details of the emissions performance standard to block plans for new unabated coal-fired power plants.

It is estimated that the UK needs £200 billion of investments by 2020 to meet its climate commitment goals and the government plans to spark off investments by stipulating a set price for low carbon electricity which includes nuclear that will then be passed on to household and business energy prices.

According to market analysts this is a very sensitive announcement, especially after British Gas price hikes – gas up 18% and electricity up 16% – announced last Friday which we commented on here in last week’s article.

The energy secretary insists that the reforms will help increase energy and price security and a long term reduction in bills. Speaking to the BBC Mr. Hune said:

“Once you take the effect on bills you actually find that we’re getting overall bill down in the long-run,”

One of the most important points to be dealt with is the reduction of the Big Six monopoly and the white paper should at least reduce their stranglehold. Right now these utilities companies supply 97% of the energy consumed in households and reforms must prevent them from lock themselves in for the next 20 years as the only ones able to play in this market.

The government must require complete transparency around the way Big Six generate and sell energy to buffer households and businesses from price hikes. It also has to provide more encouragement to small energy supply companies guaranteeing they actually have someone to buy energy from.

Demand management is another topic that will be dealt with on the UK Energy Market Reform as experts suggest it is too early to for the government to come up with a new capacity mechanism as the increase of smart meter usage, development of interconnectors and storage systems might eradicate the need for “peak demand”.

Last but not least important is the establishment of the emissions performance standard that will limit coal power plant’s CO2 emissions to 450 grams of carbon dioxide (CO2) per kilowatt hour of power production. The idea is to stop all coal power plants from generating energy within the next three years.

My first day as a student at the niche Profit classroom

When Steve told me that we would both engage in a new project, I was excited and anxious. I have that much faith in me about anything related to computers to start the Niche Profit classroom is a huge.

When I started the video introduction, I was shocked to find that everything you will ever need to build a successful Web site is contained in the NPC package! A course of what incredible! I have read first through the testimonies of other people and I was excited to start.

Level 1 - basic training

Videos of introduction to the basic level 1 training focuses more on targeting niches that could generate income. Initially, I thought that the choice of niche or target markets is a breeze and you can simply create your content and generate traffic immediately. But I looked at a few first videos, I learned that choose the right niche is one of the most important elements of the success of a Web site.

As I am watching other videos, I found myself drowning dans an overload of information and after a few hours, I eventually have nagging headache. I guess I have to slow down in the coming days and focus more on the quality of the information that I can internalize. But before I call it a day, I would like to share a cool trick I learned today in the filtering of results on google:

Then let's say that our key words are baking cakes. If you just type in baking cakes on google, it will easily show you millions and millions of Web sites that contain the words cooking cakes regardless of how close or remote these words appear on a Web site.

But, if you type "cooking cakes"-(with citations on it) - it will filter the results, showing that the pages web sites that contain the words correct cakes in the correct order of cooking. What cool shortcut! I will share more advice with you when I come back tomorrow!

NPC case study

A quick announcement - there are several case studies that will be documented on this blog in the category of the "case studies".

So, what is it?

Long story short - I spoke just my employee long term in the Getting Started Guide to build its first site of niche products. I upgraded my membership NicheProfitClassroom (NPC), so it allows me to add employees to access training and software to build profitable niche sites as you would for a regular membership.

His name is Heiza, and it will make regular contributions to this blog (please him welcome when she made her debut). Ariix Pre-Launch MLM: Will it survive?

While I wouldn't touch an MLM Start Up for a million bucks, the last USANA spin off did alright in the long run. Starting out as Monarch Health, the Dalin Larsen led company later morphed into Monavie.

Most "in the know" industry veterans will tell you that Monavie wouldn't be alive today without mega distributor, Brig Hart.

No matter how good the corporate management is, the company will struggle without great field leadership and if Ariix attempts to grab some leadership from USANA, you can bet that legal sparks will fly.

I found an interesting tidbit on another blog about Fred Cooper working on Ariix will still employed at USANA.

Fred (Cooper) abruptly resigned from USANA on May 9, 2011 to start Ariix.
Here are some interesting facts:
On January 12, 2011 iCentris, a corporation owned by Fred Cooper, purchased the domain www.Ariix.com.
On February 12, 2011 the company name Ariix was registered in Utah by Celebrus LLC.
Ariix has the same address as Fred's other company, iCentris.
The facts point pretty clearly that while he was working at USANA he was also working on launching Ariix. Domains and businesses were started months before he resigned from USANA.

Rita Davenport of Arbonne “Retires”, Some Speculate She Was “Fired”

We first reported about the possibility of Rita Davenport leaving Arbonne in February of 2010, shortly after the Arbonne Bankruptcy. We reported the Arbonne bankruptcy rumors about three months before it was announced and over 500 people commented at the time, if you have time, the comments are an interesting read with some insite into whether or not Rita was forced out or truly retired.

Here is a letter that was sent out to Arbonne VP's about the "retirement" of Rita Davenport:

It is with bittersweet emotion that we share with you recent developments at Arbonne. We are gratified to report that the company has achieved great progress and accomplished so much in just one year following its financial restructuring. Despite an uncertain economy, the Company is at an inflection point of substantial, sustainable growth and has been growing on a year-to-year basis for the past 12 months. With the permission of the Rosenel, I posted the above question because I feel that it is such a frequent and important question which deserves a blog of his own.

If you just start on online travel income, I highly recommend that you learn and practice development and marketing of information products.

To succeed in this avenue, you have the heart of a teacher. If aspire you to teaching, learning and PRACTICING - funny to tell teachers to learn and practice, is not? :)

So, what are information products, and how to develop and commercialize?

Information products take many forms. Most notable is an ebook, or e-book. EBooks are easy to develop. Everything you need is a text processing database such as Microsoft Word. You can then sell the document online, and your profit margin is almost 100%.

I get the "are you serious?" much when I tell people that there are really people crazy enough to pay for an ebook when there is so much free information on the internet.

"Yes." is what I tell people, and I have explained further that free information are extinguished by marketers, product information to pre-educate visitors and the first them up for their loan to buy their ebooks, or click on announcements of services or the products concerned.

Then I spoke to go "Ah-Ha" of the people. It is of the essence of the commercialization of education - teach you people with free of charge from the information that you publish on your site, you win of their trusts and you recommend your information premium fee. Type of like how a brochure of Community College will have a list of classes with a description of what you will learn, and how much it costs.

A while ago I wrote a series on "How to start your own information products business" which teaches you the basic steps on how to start a stream of passive income with information products.

I am officially abandoned off the coast of Page 1 of Google:

Alright, so I was not blogging on NetPassiveIncome.com for some time, and bad things happen to me:

1. I lose readership - every day, my Inbox is full WordPress notification emails saying that I have new comments or moderate. But guess what, they are all spam comments! I used to love these emails, but now I hate.

2. I lose rank of search engine - NetPassiveIncome.com used to rank on page 1 of Google for the keyword "passive income". Now, he pushed on page 2! Thank you to all the other passive revenue blogs - I hope you enjoy the free traffic you get, for the moment

3. I lose affiliate income - I liked the passive of the programme commission Niche Profit classroom I recommend on this blog, until last month (May 2011) where I see a drop off in membership renewal. I could blame on attrition rates, but the fact is that I sell no more accessions to it.

So, here's what I'm going to do about it:

1 Gain readership back -Pat flynnof the blog (currently ranked a # 2 in Google for "passive income") makes me jealous! Should I start to be more transparent in my sites and projects I have password, and the challenges of the host, such as the Duel of Niche Site, he crossed recently? I want to open it to you all to see how I can serve you better.

2 Gain ranking back search engine - all I can say is, "Watch out income passive fellow bloggers, here I come!"

3 Income from affiliate gain - the biggest mistake I with NetPassiveIncome is step taking advantage of the momentum that is built with traffic & readership (my list). I did a not use the opportunity to increase while the going was good * shaking head * this can be a lesson for you.

Also, I will change some NetPassiveIncome.com blog itself:

1 Redesigning the WordPress comment system - I am getting rid of all spam comments in my WordPress database, and is thus no comment spam to beef up security goes through leaks. I've got literally 17,000 + comments waiting for moderation now.

2 Add social media - I will add Facebook and Twitter Tips for the blog.

That's all for this position - no call to action, or something to sell at the end, just an update on what will take place on this blog.

Lessons learned for May 2011

A large part of my income online is affiliate sales - commission from the sale of products of others.

Web hosting Hostgator service is an example. Yesterday, I noticed that my announcement of 125 x 125 banner for Hostgator (you can see this on the sidebar) does not appear. I tried clicking on the link and it did not redirect to Hostgator. Something is wrong.

Fortunately Hostgator also contracts with Commission junction to their affiliate marketing, so I quickly moved my links to the URL of the CJ tracking and commissions began to flow into beautifully new - phewww....

Now I have to wait for a response from the affiliation of the Hostgator team to see on this subject - I believe this will piss off many of their affiliates due to loss of sales.

BUT, I would like to take this incident as an important lessons learned in business:

1 Use a redirection or URL shortening script to hide all your affiliate links. If you run a WordPress site, I highly recommend the Redirection plugin. When the situation occurs when you need to make a change to your link of affiliation (such as the incident Hostgator), simply change the destination of your redirect URL, and you won't have to scramble and try to remember where you sprinkled your naked affiliate link.

2. Don't put all your eggs in affiliate marketing. Learn how to develop your own products and become an affiliate for your own products. This way if the company or product that helps you sell never go out of business, it does put you out of the company, because you have this stream of income from selling your own products.

I recently purchased a Nook Color e-reader from Barnes & Noble for my online writing and marketing business. I’m working on a book for the Kindle and Nook platforms, and wanted a Nook to better understand the e-reader experience. Not only is it a tax-deductible business expense, but it’s a fun way to catch up on blogs, magazines, newspapers and books pertaining to my niches.

My Nook Color Review:

Overall, I’ve been pleased with the Nook, which is sort of a hybrid between a tablet (think iPad) and ebook reader (such as the original Kindle). It has a color screen, basic web browser, and thanks to an update this past week, the ability to run certain paid and free apps created just for the Nook. On the ereader side, it features book navigation and note-taking features as well as instant access to all of Barnes & Nobles NookBook library. And unlike the Kindle, you can use it to read books borrowed from your local library or pdf ebooks purchased or downloaded online.

It’s easy to navigate the Nook with its simple touch screen menu options and finger-scrolling feature. It’s also very simple to buy and organize new ebooks, and reading from it does not bother my eyes. Video and apps run smoothly and are clear and crisp.

I can see how one would spend hundreds of dollars very quickly if you did all your reading on the nook and didn’t take advantage of library ebook borrowing options and Nooks LendMe feature.

In sum, it’s great. But since I’d like to also experience a dedicated e-reader with the ink screen technology and 3G capability, I’m planning on investing in an Amazon Kindle reader as well.

Wow, for some time I've posted - or looks like at least!

What I can gather, is that there will be a flurry of comments coming in a comment for each of my blog to blog. Each comment has a different IP address, but it seems to be automated based on the timestamp (or the marketer people engaged in India to do this manually, no intended stereotype).

In any case, I want a quick way to moderate the comments of 10 000 inhabitants. I want a quick way to differentiate legitimate comments and spam comments.

If you had a blog for a while, you'll quickly see that spammers will usually leave a Web site URL when they submit comments. This is the first sign that a comment may be spam.

Comments more sophisticated spam inserts the URL of Web site in the body of the comment itself, making it less obvious.

OK, the discussion below is a little technical, but you can follow along if you have a mess in your hand as I (a).

To my webhost, I have cPanel, and the database administration tool is phpMyAdmin.

Pop open phpMyAdmin and open the database of wordpress. There, you will find a table called wp_comments.

While politicians and business experts were discussing ways to deliver economic growth to the UK, Prime Minister David Cameron used the meeting to announce its £200bn private investment infrastructure plan.

ameron couldn’t have picked a better time to announce such an ambitious plan that will “completely update and modernise” the UK’s infrastructure, including roads, railways and utilities, over the next five years.

The announcement caused mixed reactions from business organisations that ranged from an excited response from RenewableUK to a more moderate welcome from the British Chambers of Commerce who urged the Government to turn its “vision to concrete action”.

In short, the Prime Minister’ infrastructure scheme is more a challenge as the Government is looking for the private to provide £160bn of the total investment over the next five years. The idea is to incite companies to invest in a wide range of energy, transport, water and waste, broadband and digital projects. Meanwhile the Government will be investing £40bn in the key areas as announced in last week’s Spending Review.

A large sum of these investments is to be destined to subsidise renewable energy projects while another £70bn is estimated to be spent by electricity generators in building new nuclear power plants for “free” because there is no subsidy.

Support for the £1bn carbon capture and storage technology to develop clean coal is a key part of the programme but this has suffered a setback with the withdrawal of one of two companies building pilot plants.

On the other hand the Green Investment Bank will be using its £1bn initial fund to back up private sector investments the market regards as too risky.

Most of the spending in the five-year plan would come from the private sector “where necessary, helped by suitable regulatory change”, along with levies and State-imposed pricing rules in areas such as renewable energies.

Don’t Cash Those MLSP Affiliate Checks

On Thursday March 3, the United States Government informed Integration, Inc. that, among our numerous valued, honest customers, a single company which used Integration’s check-writing services, or one of its behind-the-scenes affiliates, had allegedly engaged in activities that the Government deems unlawful.
On that basis, an Assistant U.S. Attorney in Kansas City, Missouri, without any advance notice to Integration, Inc., obtained a Court Order which seized not only the funds of that one customer, but all of our customers’ funds. The Order was issued by U.S. Magistrate Judge John T. Maughmer, in the United States District Court for the
Western District of Missouri, Case No. 11-SW-30-JTM.
Integration, Inc. promptly retained legal counsel who, on Friday March 4, reached out to the Assistant U.S. Attorney and are attempting to resolve the situation as quickly as possible, so as to remedy the Government’s seizure of innocent companies’ and individuals’ funds. Communications continued over the weekend.
We are dismayed to say the least that the U.S. Government would do such a thing to innocent companies and individuals. It was done without any advance notice and was entirely beyond our control. We will do everything we can, through our legal counsel, to convince the Government to reverse this overreaching action. However,

I am writing to update you about our Shaklee family in Japan in the aftermath of yesterday's devastating earthquake and tsunami. Many of you have written to express your concern and desire to help. We still do not have all the facts as the northern part of Japan does not have reliable telephone or mobile service, and it is extremely difficult to travel there. However, at this time, we do not know of any injuries or loss of life to our Shaklee family. And we hope and pray that continues to be the case as we learn more over the next several days.

Fortune Hi Tech Under Fire In Canada

A multi-level marketing scheme expanding into Langley is under investigation in the U.S. and is facing allegations of unsavoury practices there.

Fortune Hi-Tech Marketing calls itself a "network marketing" or "relationship marketing" company, using personal connections and social networking to sell a variety of products.

The company has come under fire for its practices in the United States, largely because it pays its members for signing up new members.

That's a warning sign that a company may be a pyramid scheme, say government and business watchdogs.

Gabrielle Tasse of the Competition Bureau of Canada said standard multi-level marketing companies make their money selling products.

"[Pyramid schemes] make their money off recruiting others," Tasse said.

She couldn't comment directly on FHTM, or say whether there have been complaints or if there are any investigations at present.

The Langley Advance sat in on a recent FHTM meeting, held in the Langley Township's council chambers on a Wednesday evening. The first portion of the meeting was held to recruit new members. The emphasis for much of the hour and a half meeting was on signing up still more members.

A top rep for the company in B.C. said reps undertake a two-step process: step one is selling products and services, step two is introducing the program to others.

"New guests in the room, your job is to build teams of 12," said Derek Sheane.

Along with Jessica Ward, Sheane told the crowd the couple joined 10 months ago and have quit their regular jobs to focus on FHTM full time.

Sheane and Ward emphasized that "anyone can do this business," and encouraged those signing up to then go out and sign up more people.

"Then we help them do the exact same thing," he said.

New members must pay $250 to join. Members then get a $125 direct deposit payment for each new recruit they sign up.

The company does sell a number of products online, including vitamins (from a firm owned by the FHTM founder), travel services, a roadside assistance package, VoiP services, and cellphone coverage. When a product is sold, the sales rep gets a percentage of the value of the sale. For an ongoing contract such as cellphone service, the percentage is received every month.

Rewards and promotions within the company's structure include a strong emphasis on developing a large network of recruits. Free trips, and even leased Lexus sedans, are available for people who hit certain targets.

Sheane and Ward recently qualified for a Lexus.

The reps also encouraged people to sign up for many of the products themselves.

Susan (not her real name) never got anywhere near a Lexus in her brief time with FHTM. Unemployed since she was laid off several years ago, Susan was invited by a friend who was already a member.

The Maple Ridge woman signed up two months ago, paying $299 to become a member. She then had to immediately accumulate three "customer points" to begin selling and recruiting.

She paid for the company's online office system, which has a video site and telephone service, and keeps track of sales.

"It came to another $150 bucks on top of that," she said.

"At first, they seemed very helpful," she said of the company's reps.

Susan quickly realized that the system was not for her. Within a week of joining, on Sept. 30, she had decided to leave the company, and she tried to get her money back.

She had been told she could get her $299 fee back within 10 days, and when she phoned a rep, she was told it would be no problem.

Then she received an email saying she would have to return the binders and info packages she'd been sent, and that she would have to fax in a signed statement saying she was quitting.

Susan said she believes she sent everything back in time, but she still hasn't got any of her money back.

She said she's going to keep trying to get her money returned.

John, a Langley man who asked that his last name not be used, attended one of the FHTM meetings at Susan's invitation.

He said he was immediately suspicious, and he didn't think most of the products were worth the price.

"The prices were just horrible," he said.

While the reps talked about how they're affiliated with big-named companies such as Starbucks, Travelocity, and Best Buy, they are essentially just referring or re-selling when making most sales.

But the biggest issue for John was the emphasis on signing up new people, as opposed to selling products.

John estimated about 90 per cent of the time at the meeting he attended was devoted to talk about signing up more reps.

John said he's worried that many of the young people he saw at the meeting won't know the warning signs and will put their money into the company.

FHTM settled with Montana's state securities commissioner recently, paying $1 million, including $840,000 in reimbursements to many of its members.

The company did not admit to any wrongdoing as part of the settlement.

FHTM also had to agree to change its business practices in Montana. It now only charges $75 there to become a representative.

The firm has a C- rating from the Better Business Bureau, recently raised from a D. It had an F a few months ago.

The firm has more than 50 complaints from across the continent, although none of them come from B.C., and about 80 per cent have been resolved.

In Langley, the firm has been holding its meetings in the Township hall's council chambers for about a month.

David Leavers, who oversees Township facilities, said that after he was contacted by the Advance about FHTM, he checked to see if they have a local business licence. They didn't, so a letter has been sent asking them to apply for one in the Township.

Local FHTM reps did not answer questions about the firm's marketing practices, and referred all questions to their Lexington, Ky. head offices.

A written list of questions has been forwarded to the company, as per chief operations officer David Mills's request. He did not respond by deadline Monday.

Fortune Hi Tech Being Invesigated By North Carolina Attorney General

Another State Attorney General is investigating Fortune Hi Tech Marketing (FHTM) as a Pyramid Scheme. At some point, the reps in the field are going to become weary of the story about several former attorney generals saying everything is OK at Fortune. North Carolina is the third state in a very short period of time to investigate FHTM.

A spokeswoman for the attorney general, Noelle Talley, said investigators with the consumer protection division are concerned about Fortune Hi-Tech Marketing's operations in North Carolina. Investigators are reviewing more than a dozen consumer complaints to determine if the company's activities violate state laws, and the office was contacting other attorney generals to exchange information and review what kinds of complaints they had received, Talley said. The investigation began earlier this fall.

This is after Montana and North Dakota shut down Fortune Hi Tech for periods of time.

Japan keeps bringing out new issues in companies in America which many might not have considered. One such name is Nu Skin Enterprises Inc. (NYSE: NUS), which develops and distributes anti-aging personal care products and nutritional supplements. A research call update from Canaccord Genuity highlights some of the risk and also the opportunity which exists here after Japan has taken a severe bite out of its share price in the last two days.
The research notes that the complete impact of the recent Japanese earthquake will not be known for some time, and it admits that sales of discretionary goods are likely to take a hit near-term. Canaccord Genuity’s Consumer Products Analyst is Scott Van Winkle and he noted significant exposure to Japan of about 30% of his expected 2011 revenue forecasts were expected to come from Japan. Again, sales are expected to be hit and the outcome of ongoing challenges currently remains unclear.
Van Winkle indicated that each 1% disruption to Japanese revenue versus his forecast will impact consolidated revenue by $4.7 million, while the impact to earnings will be roughly $0.02 EPS for each 1% sales disruption. That still assumes that incremental sales deliver a 40% contribution margin. He also noted that Nu Skin’s operations suffered no major physical impacts from the earthquake and tsunami.

Is EIRO BRANDS A Scam?

I haven't received one myself, but many people on my team are now getting cryptic emails from a company known as EIRO BRANDS.

EIRO BRANDS, LLC has purchased all the existing inventory of EIRO RESEARCH products.

It sounds like EIRO BRANDS is affiliated with the "formulator" of the EIRO Energy Drink line.

Here are my questions...

1. Who is EIRO BRANDS? So far, they are hiding.

2. Will EIRO BRANDS be upfront about the problems associated with the EIRO Derm Skincare line? (Ask former EIRO associates if you want the gory details).

3. Will EIRO BRANDS pay the former distributors of EIRO Research products what is owed to them for the month of December commissions or will they simply use the hard work of the distributors to sell directly to their personal customers?

4. Is there a guarantee on these products? What if the EIRO Derm cleanser burns your face, can you get your money back?

U.S. nutrition products company Herbalife, known for its protein shakes and energy supplements, will become the title sponsor of the Spartak Moscow football club, Vedomosti reported Wednesday.
By placing its logo on the T-shirts of the country’s most popular football club, the company hopes to improve its image in Russia after overly aggressive advertising campaigns during the 1990s, Vedomosti reported.

The company and the Premier League club confirmed the partnership, promising to announce details on Friday. Vedomosti reported, citing an unidentified club partner, that the contract would cost Herbalife about $10 million over 2 1/2 years.

UK LNG Imports Set to Rise:

UK to import more LNG this winter

According to the National Grid’s annual winter outlook gas demand is set to rise by 3.8% this winter. Such an increase will force us to import more liquefied natural gas (LNG) by ship from the US.

Despite the need to import more LNG from overseas, power network operators calmed fears that there would not be a repeat of last year. Even in the event of a rough winter there would be more than enough capacity thanks to the increased capacity at Britain’s Isle of Grain LNG terminal and the British-Dutch BBL gas pipeline.

National Grid’s forecast predicted that utilities will favour gas-fired plants for energy generation in October and November and from December onwards coal plants.

Ofgem, the energy regulator, cautioned that changes in global energy prices and demand levels in Europe have a significant, unpredictable influence on the situation, which could create a well known phenomenon of fluctuating gas prices.

A spokesman said: “Ofgem’s position is that the energy industry must maintain its vigilance and take every step to prepare for this winter to ensure supplies for consumers.”

On the other hand the report stated the Britain has more than enough power generation to supply demand this coming winter. Predictions are that peak electricity demand for an average winter cold spell would be 57.7 gigawatts (GW), below 57.8 GW last year while power generation availability was forecast to be 66.3 GW.

The research will also develop techniques and regulations to support the responsible sitting and permitting of offshore wind energy facilities and ocean energy generated from waves, tides, currents and thermal gradients.

Speaking on the matter the US Secretary of Energy Steven Chu said:

“The nation’s oceans represent a major potential source of clean renewable energy, and the Department of Energy is committed to developing the innovative technologies that will harness that potential,”

As afore mentioned there are many ways to generate energy using the oceans like, tidal, waves, offshore wind farms. But without doubt the most innovative and eco-friendly one is OTEC or Ocean Thermal Energy Conservation.

Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion (OTEC) uses the temperature difference that exists between deep and shallow waters to run a heat engine. As with any heat engine, the greatest efficiency and power is produced with the largest temperature difference and up until now this was the biggest challenge for OTEC. But recent developments in efficiency of heat exchange assisted by modern designs performance can reach theoretical maximum efficiency making OTEC a viable and efficient renewable energy resource. I almost managed to my payment of $20 so I go ahead and update this article with more details, after that that I receive payment… Now the verdict is still out but I think this is a great solution to other similar programs.

Energy Prices Drop Despite The Cold Weather

Despite going through one of the coldest winters in history, UK energy prices dropped. Strong gas supply from Norway, imported LNG and the restart of a nuclear reactor helped bring household and business energy prices down.

Normally when temperatures drop gas prices go up. This winter temperatures are several degrees below seasonal average which should have rocketed gas prices. Energy prices are highly influenced by gas prices, so every time gas prices go up energy prices soon follow.

“Everything has traded lower on gas,” said an energy broker.

Back in December we reported that UK Business Gas Prices Drop despite Forecasted Cold Spell, at the time a strong supply from Norway and Netherlands plus strong imports of LNG forced gas traders to lower their prices.

The same is happening again. National Grid data showed Norwegian gas via Langeled was flowing 69 mcm/day, while the Interconnector was adding 12mcm/day and Britain’s LNG terminals were supply around 90 mcm.

Gas prices for Wednesday dropped 60p for spot contracts compared to late December and were traded at 57.80 pence per therm. Gas for February and March was down 2 pence and was traded at 57.80 and 57.50, respectively.

In the power market energy prices followed and British baseload power prices for delivery on Wednesday was 49.85 pounds per megawatt-hour (MWh) and 55 pounds per MWh in peak, down GBP1.65 per MWh.

On the N2EX wholesale power exchange, the day-ahead power auction cleared GBP3.51 lower than the previous day at GBP48.65/MWh.

But gas wasn’t the only reason energy prices dropped. The restart of Oldbury 2 220 MW nuclear reactor and its reintegration to the grid also played an important role in plunging UK energy prices.

There are also energy brokers that believe floods in Australia might influence UK gas and energy prices if coal supply is interrupted. UK coal surplus is high which means it won’t affect prices just yet.

Further more, weekend base was heard at GBP48/MWh, down GBP3 from the previous weekend, and week 2 base was offered at GBP50.75/MWh.

Max International Pays $1.2 Million To Settle Lawsuit With Melaleuca

A Utah health and home product company has agreed to pay $1.2 million to its Idaho Falls-based rival to settle a lawsuit over allegations it poached employees and urged them to breach contracts.

Max International in Salt Lake City was sued by Idaho's Melaleuca in fall 2009, who contended the Utah company raided its marketing executives and then conspired to have those former workers breach their contracts with the company by recruiting other sales people.

Melaleuca sells about 350 nutritional and household products including lotions, detergents and powdered drinks. Max International sells similar products and uses a similar business model.

The settlement was reported by a story published Sunday in the Post Register.

"Our actions here were vindicated, and the outcome says the actions we tried to seek against Max International were finally realized," Melaleuca President McKay Christensen told the newspaper. "We think Max took the right actions here in settling the case, and we're pleased to have a positive outcome."

Max co-CEOs, Joseph Voyticky and David Bagley, apologized to the Idaho company, saying it "deeply regrets any actions, if any, by its officers, employees or associates that contributed to any contract violations by former Melaleuca (sales agents)."

ROI Unlimited Scam: New MLM Travel Matrix Headquarted In A UPS Store

The following are my thoughts about ROI Unlimited. Let me know what you think in the comments area.

ROI Unlimited is an MLM travel discount matrix scheme, based in a UPS Store in Arizona that looks a lot like the failed YTB Travel and TVI Express repackaged with a hyped up cycling matrix compensation plan.

The compensation plan has 3 entry levels: $250, $1,000 and $3,500.

$250 gets you in the matrix and gives you a hotel discount card, $1,000 qualifies you for higher commissions and gets you a "Condo Card" that supposedly gets you access to steep discounts on condominiums.

The $3,500 adds cruise lines into the mix.

Stop and think about that for a second. You are paying an extra $2,500 for "many cruises (that) are below market prices".

Seriously, how many cruises would you need to take to recoup your $2,500?

And that brings up problem number one with ROI Unlimited:

There is also lot of talk about "no auto ship" with this company and that is true, but you will also be making very little money unless you get good at selling $3,500 travel discount packages. (Good luck with that in this economy.)

The compensation plan touts a team concept, yet only the top person in a matrix of 15 people is making any real money even though everyone is working at selling $3,500 packages.

If you watch the compensation plan video, you get a guy who sounds like he has smoked a pack a day of Camel's talking over some soothing music, explaining the compensation plan to you.

In the video, he shows a graphic of a product box that you get for your $3,500 investment.

In reality you get a discount card. There is no box of products. It's a card.

Don't be fooled.

I did a little research into who is behind ROI Unlimited, starting with the domain registration:

I noticed two things very interesting about the registration. It's only good for one year and it appears to be owned by a web designer.

The company is apparently owned by Fred Schwartz and Brian Spangler, but there is no information about them on the web site.

And here is the big one, the corporate headquarters as listed on ROIUnlimited.com is actually a UPS Store in a strip mall in Surprise, Arizona.

There are lots of red flags with this start up company. I would look elsewhere.

Viviane Skincare, an early MLM party plan was originally founded in 1958 as Viviane Woodward.

The company later formed a virtual alliance with Hollywood and developed a glamour makeup line that had a reputation for being attractive, natural looking and beneficial to the skin.

Viviane was re-branded in 2008 but still has some of the same "young" ladies who have been with the company for 40 + years out building today.

The compensation is a stair-step breakaway with a heavy focus on product retail.

Viviane is headquartered in Bellevue, Washington and the company president is Kathleen Spitzer. The Spitzer family has owned Viviane since 2000.

I was reading about the lawsuits and controversy surrounding Melaleuca, Terry Dorfman and Ken Dunn this morning and I was getting confused, frustrated and more than a little pissed off. I'm a big fan of the network marketing industry but sometimes there's so much sh#t flying around that you get distracted from what's important.

OK, I'm about to do something really stupid and may regret that - I just know. So jump on this subject before changing my mind.

Here is a list of domain names that I do not intend to maintain or develop on (truth is I've got too many domain names who are sitting in my account that I don't know what to do with them), and their renewal date arrives (1/2/2011).

Some of them I have kept for years, this area only age is of value. In addition, some areas are areas of great keyword (especially the how TO BUY ones).

Alright, this then is the deal - if you see something you like, or can use for an immediate Web site project, then you ask and stake your claim!

Here's how:

Make a post on your blog (if you don't, here's how you can start a blog) indicating your area of choice in the list field below and (IMPORTANT!) link back to this blog post so a pingback can be established.

Then, briefly discuss what is your plan with this domain name - development of a site on it, sell, gift it away, etc.

If more express someone's interest in the same domain name, and then anyone who has the best plan for the domain name gets it - of course it is a subjective decision by me .

It is very likely that a domain name will be the first choice by many people, so I will allow you a 2nd and 3rd choice with your state plans for them. If you want to take on a 4th, 5th, etc. I am OK by it, also you can me re - assured that they will be a good owner

What Are You Network Marketers Thankful For?

Each year around this time - during the next couple of weeks - I reflect on the year that has passed and what I'm grateful and thankful for. I also use this time to set audacious goals so I'll have more to be thankful for next year.
