Welcome to my Residual Income Site

You are not far away from the most important decision you will ever make!

Please read this entire page carefully do not miss any of it.

My name is Colin Warburton, and I work full time from home in the UK.

What I want to share with you will help you decide what the best way is to make a Residual Income in the UK.

The information below will give you a strong overview of how I believe the mistakes I, and possibly yourself, have made, can be avoided.

I am lucky in that I work full-time from my home. I have no boss to report to, and I have the freedom to use my time in any way I like. But you can obtain a residual income even if you aren't in the same position.

Do you believe in the following statement by Zig Ziglar: "You can have anything in the world you want if you'll just help enough other people get what they want."

Unfortunately, if you are looking to make a residual income, most of what we are taught does not do that.

Bearing in mind that over 95% of people in MLM will fail, is that the way you should be proceeding if you want to make a residual income? No matter what people tell you, it just isn't that easy.

There is another way to Achieve your Residual Income and it doesn't have to involve the internet. What you need is something that has been done before and based on a solid business.

And you need to be guided by people that are doing well, not someone who started 2 days before you! (sound familiar?)

You need proper training ... by people who are good... you should never be left guessing what to do next.

If you are really serious about being in that top 5% that actually make a good residual income then fill in the form below for more information. Or if you don't want to give your information yet, go here. (you will need sound)

Good Luck

Colin

Money Isn’t Everything

It’s been quite a long time since I’ve updated content on this website, the fact of the matter is that making money online isn’t always one’s top priority in life. I have recently spent more time focusing on the more important aspects of life, having fun, trying new things and generally trying to focus on self improvement.

Some time it helps to take a step back from your online activities and have some new experiences to allow your mind the space to generate the next great idea. Making money online is a full time job for many however it happens to be a part time job for most. I won’t argue with people that say its impossible to make a full time income online however I would insist that they try a bit harder and at bare minimum give it another shot before throwing in the towel.

Your Blog Is Money has really taken off in the past year, it frequently places on the first page for “How to Make Money,” a search term with more than 700 million competing pages. In addition it also ranks for several other search terms which I won’t provide because competitors are quick to take advantage of such information. If you want to go head to head for the term “How to Make Money” feel free to give it your best shot, I wouldn’t be surprised if you did it however I know personally what it takes to rank for a term like that so don’t feel bad if it takes you a few months… or a few years…

This website is a great tutorial source for people beginning on their road to being an internet marketer specifically for those who want to be successful with blog advertising and income generation from advertisers like Google Adsense. I would urge those not to copy the niche but rather venture out into an area that they are really interested in, make it a hobby and less of a business and it will really take off, especially if you focus on helping people, these are the same people that WILL help you.

I appreciate all the visitors that have found my website and spent the time reading my articles. I honestly hope that my content has helped you to be more successful and apologize for all the rants and raves you may have had to sift through to get to the “Good Stuff!!”

I have discontinued most of my link building efforts for this website due to the fact that there are many other niches that have a much better rate of return for link generation time and energy invested. I have sites that have taken off way bigger than this with only 1/10 of the effort that this site has taken. You can make it big in MMO but you will need to really look at the niche and find something that is MISSING. The bottom line is people are continuously spewing the same information over and over in hopes of you buying their worthless E-Marketing book, product or service.

Check out Grizzly, he’ll tell you the same thing and will probably fill in most of the gaps that this site fails to address. Honestly, without him, I still wouldn’t have a clue about what is really going on in the world of SEO, and have to give credit where credit is due. I doubt he has read my content but the bottom line is that all it takes is a spark to start a fire, this website is proof of that.

I have been preparing some content about Google Webmaster tools that should be useful and will try to have it up as soon as possible. Once again money isn’t everything, take a break, look at what your doing, what is working, what isn’t. Do more of the good, less of the bad, rinse and repeat and focus on helping, the money will be there when you need it.

Wealthy Affiliate: Day 1

I first heard about the Wealthy Affiliate forum and resources years ago — early 2008, I believe — but had no money to try it out. I had made the decision not to buy anything online until I had earned money from my efforts. I wanted to start for free and see some success before spending money I really couldn’t afford.

So I plunged forward, with more effort than knowledge, and over many months of work managed to make enough money that I quit my part-time job. I was making more money working much fewer hours — an amazing situation for me as a work at home mom of two, then three, and now four young children.

Now, several websites and hundreds of online articles later, earning $2,000 to $4,000 a month through advertising revenue and affiliate commissions, I’m ready to take my internet business to a higher level. I still have limited time, but I fully intend to build up to $10,000 a month before my one-year Wealthy Affiliate membership comes up for renewal.

On your mark, get set ….

Wealthy Affiliate: Days 2 and 3

I’m blogging about my Wealthy Affiliate journey as I go, to share what I learn along the way and perhaps give you ideas to use as you build your residual income, whether or not you decide to take the course yourself.

The day after I joined the WAU affiliate training course, I completed the first lesson and was notified I had to wait another two days before having access to the next segment. There was a list of extra things to do in the meantime, and I soon found myself browsing the Training Center. It was there, under Intermediate Resources, that I found a short guide on “Building a Mailing List.”

I’ve long known that an opt-in subscriber list is like gold for internet marketers. If you have a website on dog training, and an email list of visitors who are interested in dog training tips and resources, you can better market your website articles as well as dog-related products and services, to an interested audience. This is true for any niche across the web. For those who wish to receive them, your subject-specific newsletters can be a helpful resource. For you, it can be an opportunity to build credibility with your audience, as well as increase online income.

Typically, you wouldn’t work on building an opt-in subscriber list on day 2 of an internet marketing course. Most students are still learning the basics of internet marketing, unless like me they’ve already had some experience before taking the course. But since I already have blogs, websites and articles going, and am simply waiting to delve deeper into the meat of the course, seeing that simple guide was the motivation I needed to get moving on my subscription list.

A free service,  MailChimp, which is really very robust and actually quite cool, handles my subscriber list. My initial list is less than 300 contacts, all of whom opted-in in the past six months to receive my ebook updates, and it’s a good start. I have also created a newsletter subscription form which will import subscribers to my MailChimp account to help grow my list.

On day 3 of my WA course, I sent my first subscriber list email. In reaching out to my subscribers, I want to make sure  that my newsletters are first and foremost helpful and useful resources. We all hate junk mail and sales pitches, and I respect my readers’ time. I intend to only send information I’d be glad to receive myself. In addition to good content, links to helpful resources — whether or not I may receive a commission on them — will also be included, but only if I have tried them and believe them to be good and worth MORE than the cost.

Any tips on what you as a subscriber want to receive in a newsletter? If you have a website, do you have a subscriber list? What kind of updates do you send to your list?

Wealthy Affiliate: Days 4 & 5 — it’s paid for itself

Wow.

I had high hopes but really did not expect to see my investment pay off so … quickly.

My Wealthy Affiliate membership, which I’ve been blogging about for the past week, has already paid for itself.

I spent $359 for access to the Wealthy Affiliate course and resources for a year (the price will more than double, forever, starting tomorrow) and, following their action plan, will more than make that back through affiliate sales from the past three days.

If I’d subscribed for the $39/ month plan, that one $39 investment would have earned itself back in spades even if I quit and never spent another hour on the site. For those on the fence about joining this incredible community of internet marketers, webmasters and online writers, I urge you to try it — just for one month — as it might be the best $39 you’ve spent all year.

While I first heard about Kyle & Carson’s membership site two years ago, I waited until now to join because I always had more work than I could handle and was trying to earn money without spending a penny — and I did. But my knowledge of affiliate marketing is a hodgepodge of what I’ve read and what I’ve experienced through my own trials & errors.

I make a few thousand dollars a month — which is amazing considering how few hours I really devote to it — but Kyle & Carson and their numerous success stories show much higher earnings than I can imagine achieving on my own.

For me, spending the money made sense — doubly so now that I’ve already earned it back after implementing only a fraction of the material in WA — as it furthers my goals to bring my online business to the next level.

Whether or not you purchase this particular resource depends on where you are and what goals you have. I wonder, if I’d joined two years ago, what kind of success would I be seeing already? But then I remember — the second best time to start is now. And I have.

Vindale Research

Are you wondering whether Vindale Research is legitimate? Are you wondering whether VR is a scam?

This Vindale Research review will fill you in on the details of their GPT website and how you can make money with them.

This company is extremely new however many people in the industry are beginning to recognize them as a full fledged GPT service with opportunities similar to Cash Crate, Treasure Trooper, Project Payday, Send Earnings and others.

Even though their marketing pitch sounds a bit sleazy, i.e. “Be heard. Share your opinion. Review Products and take simple online surveys. Make a difference by giving your opinion. Earn great rewards. Keep the products you review.” Their service does offer some real opportunities to make some quick cash.

I’ve been researching and testing many legitimate “get paid to sites,” and after using their system, I found that it was a bit easier to navigate and complete surveys. Even though this company advertises themselves like a competitor to some of the other major survey sites, they are in reality just another CashCrate or TreasureTrooper.

The point is that you can make money with their company but don’t expect to make a fortune. If you are simply looking to expand your supplementary income then this opportunity may be a great way to do just that. Many people on the web are quick to put a site down before they even give it a chance… You will find pages on the web saying that Vindale Research is a scam and you will also find websites such as mine promoting the site.

Articles offered on this website consist of my personal opinion and should not be taken as fact. With any GPT site or “money making” opportunity, it will obviously be up to you to do your own independent research to see if it is worth your time. I have done a few surveys with VR and they have credited my account promptly, this is the type of research you must do before investing a large amount of time and effort with a “get paid to” website.

The surveys that Vindale Research offers are almost identical to those you will find on Treasure Trooper and Cash Crate but they seem to pay a bit better and as with any new business venture, there may be opportunities to grow with the company if you get in while they are still brand new. The site pays only once per month and as is typical with most websites like this, you must meet a minimum threshold of twenty dollars before they are willing to pay you.

At the bottom of this article I have gone ahead and included a helpful list of GPT opportunities that you may want to consider in addition to VR.

If you have some time on your hands and your open to trying new make money online opportunities, I recommend that you drop by the Vindale Research website, read their content and consider signing up for a free account.

GPT Opportunities :

Vindale Research
Cash Crate
Treasure Trooper
Send Earnings
Project Payday

Residual Income Opportunity: What’s good?

How do you recognize a profitable residual income opportunity? Evaluating potential sources of long-term income is part of the process in building your online business. Wasting time and resources on dead ends and sites that don’t earn proves to be the nail in the coffin for many would-be online entrepreneurs who become discouraged and give up after initial failures.

But the fact is, there will be failures — large and small –along the way. The key is to minimize them and learn from them so that your success is long-term and far outweighs any previous mistakes.

First realize that the principal determination of success versus failure is yourself. You can stumble across an amazing opportunity, yet flub it because you don’t put in the necessary effort to see success. Conversely, you can work tirelessly at what is really only an average opportunity and yet see incredible success based on your steady, long-term efforts. Your own work ethic and the amount of time, research and good old work you put into a thing will be a large part of your success.

Of course, it would make sense to put your efforts into something where your success will reflect the amount of work you’re doing. So what do you look for?

Past success: Have other writers earned well on the website you’re considering writing for? Have ebooks on the general topic you’re writing about sold well? The past can help indicate the future, but remember that the web is constantly changing. You can break old barriers and a great website of yesterday can go under tomorrow.Demand: How many people are actively searching for the keywords you are building a website around? How many shoppers are looking to buy the product you want to sell? Don’t write a whole site around a topic nobody cares about.Competition: If there already a dozen well-written sites on your micro niche topic, you might want to look for a less-saturated topic. Are there very few search results for the long-tail keyword you’re writing an article series on? Then jump on it!Attraction: Do you love the new user-generated-content site you found? Are you passionate about a niche topic you’d like to write about? Even if the other aspects don’t quite add up, your attraction to a particular site or topic may me all the motivation you need to make it a success.

You can truly make your own residual income opportunity in this era of the internet and mobile communication. Now go do it!
