US cosmetics major Mary Kay Inc is planning to invest $20 million over the next five years to tap market by ramping up its direct selling force in 200 cities, engage in contract manufacturing and launch specific products for India in the coming months.
Headquartered at Dallas, Texas Mary Kay, Inc. is all set to woo the Indian women by ramping up its 4,000 independent beauty consultants who are its direct selling force.
“We are planning to add about 100,000 independent beauty consultants,” Hina Nagarajan, Country Manager, Mary Kay India,told Express.
The company is also planning to open regional warehouses along with local offices to facilitate ordering and payment support for sales force, she said.
